Position Overview: North Iowa Community Action Organization (NICAO) is seeking a dynamic, mission-driven Health Services Director to lead and oversee critical public health programs serving families across North Iowa. At NICAO, every employee contributes to creating a positive, respectful, and safe environment for staff, customers, and community partners. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring excellence, compliance, and innovation across multiple health initiatives that directly impact our communities. Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with all state and federal policies, including HIPAA. Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff; update job descriptions as needed. Schedule staff for clinical and non-clinical duties. Direct and coordinate evaluation, monitoring, and compliance of all funded programs. Conduct regular staff meetings and ensure ongoing professional development. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in public health, health education, nursing, sociology, psychology, or social work. (required) Experience in health and human services strongly preferred.
