Adventures in Clay - Ages 10 and up Adventures in Clay Spend five days manipulating different kinds of clays: air dry, kiln-fired, polymer, and plaster. We will explore the differences in these materials and what different applications they have in the art studio and at home. Projects will be a mix of form and function, additive and reductive processes, positive vs. negative space, and different finishes--so lots of deep artistic learning. Students will shape these malleable compounds into both imaginative and realistic forms. Instructor - Nicole Nelson
