DESCRIPTION:Adventures in Clay - Ages 10 and up Adventures in Clay Spend five days manipulating different kinds of clays: air dry\, kiln-fired\, polymer\, and plaster. We will explore the differences in these materials and what different applications they have in the art studio and at home. Projects will be a mix of form and function\, additive and reductive processes\, positive vs. negative space\, and different finishes--so lots of deep artistic learning. Students will shape these malleable compounds into both imaginative and realistic forms. Instructor - Nicole Nelson
