In an Oakwood Hour: Get Moving: The Importance of Exercise
Mom was right! Eat right and exercise!
Increase energy; enhance mobility, flexibility, and balance; improve sleep; reduce the impact of illness and chronic disease; improve the mind, mood, memory, and self confidence.
The thought of exercise can be scary for seniors who worry about the risk of falling or are concerned that their current health status limits their mobility. But don't let these barriers discourage you.
Attend this program to learn a variety of low impact exercises that anyone, of any health, can do while seated in a chair.
