Fresh on Fridays

Kids of all ages are invited to enjoy another engaging Friday in the Bee Happy Discovery Garden filled with hands-on learning, outdoor exploration, and interactive experiences in partnership with community collaborators. Each week offers opportunities for families to connect with nature in meaningful and fun ways while exploring everything the garden has to offer during the summer season. This week features a visit from Cerro Gordo County Conservation with their Insect Zoo, giving guests a close-up look at a variety of insects and helping highlight the important role they play in our environment. Visitors can learn through observation and interaction while gaining a deeper appreciation for the natural world around them. In addition, ISU Extension programming will be available, offering educational activities designed to encourage curiosity, learning, and community involvement for participants of all ages. Guests are encouraged to spend time exploring the Bee Happy Discovery Garden throughout the morning, enjoying the seasonal atmosphere, and participating in the wide range of activities available each Friday.
