About Us
Since 1969, 43 North Iowa (43NI), formerly known as NIVC Services and North Iowa Transition Center, is dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities in North Iowa. Our mission of “helping people find their way through home, employment, and community experiences” drives the direction of our programs.
We offer a range of support, including transitional, residential, and community living assistance, designed to help individuals with mental health diagnoses transition back into community living.
Through our training and employment services, we empower over 400 individuals with disabilities to collectively earn nearly $2 million in wages annually. These earnings not only benefit our clients and their families but also contribute to the growth of local businesses. Our social and recreational activities foster supported community living, enabling individuals to actively participate in and contribute to their communities.
