Senior Living Community Manager Clear Lake, Iowa | Full-Time Job Summary: We are looking for a high-energy, people-loving Senior Living Community Manager to lead our independent living community in Clear Lake. This role is part operations leader, part relationship-builder, and part cruise director-creating an environment where residents feel excited, connected, safe, and proud to call this home. You will be the heart and pulse of the community, setting the tone for joy, hospitality, engagement, and excellence. From resident activities and wellness to staff leadership and occupancy growth, you'll ensure that our community runs smoothly and feels vibrant. What You'll Do: * Create a Community People Love - Be the welcoming face of the community for residents, families, and guests. - Build meaningful relationships with residents and ensure they feel heard, valued, and supported. - Oversee a dynamic calendar of activities, social events, wellness programs, and outings that keep residents engaged and excited. - Foster a warm, upbeat culture where people look forward to coming out of their apartments and being part of something. * Lead Like a Pro - Inspire, coach, and support a team of staff who deliver outstanding service every day. - Hire, train, and retain great people who care about residents and bring positive energy to their work. - Set clear expectations, provide feedback, and help staff grow professionally. * Keep Operations Running Smoothly - Oversee day-to-day operations of the community including resident services, maintenance, wellness center, pool, and common spaces. - Make sure the building is safe, clean, welcoming, and well-maintained at all times. - Manage budgets, expenses, and resources responsibly while maintaining high standards of service. *Fill the Building with Life - Partner with marketing and leadership to drive occupancy and maintain a strong waiting list. - Give tours, build relationships with prospective residents and families, and help them envision a great life here. - Serve as an ambassador in the Clear Lake community, building partnerships with local businesses, healthcare providers, and organizations. * Stay Compliant & Confident - Ensure all regulatory, licensing, safety, and health requirements are met. - Maintain policies, emergency plans, and risk management practices to keep residents and staff safe.
