Employment Type: Full-Time during the school year. Summers off. Mon-Fri. 8 hour days. Pay Range: $15.66-$18.44. Position Overview: As a Floater, you’ll provide valuable support in various classrooms and age groups, stepping in where needed to ensure consistency and quality in care and education. This is a key role that helps maintain smooth operations and ensures that children receive nurturing, responsive interactions every day. Key Responsibilities: -Support classrooms for children ages birth to five, stepping in as needed due to staff absences or schedule needs. -Assist teaching teams in implementing daily routines, classroom activities, and individual learning plans. -Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff. -Help maintain a safe, clean, and developmentally appropriate environment. -Collaborate with team members and follow Head Start Program Performance Standards. Qualifications: -High School Diploma or GED required. -Experience working with young children preferred. -Flexibility to work with different age groups and in multiple classroom settings. -Strong communication and teamwork skills. -Ability to meet state and program licensing requirements (e.g., background checks) -Driver's License with adequate insurance to travel when needed.
