World Aerobatic Competition Opening Ceremonly

Bring your lawn chair, line Main Avenue, and help us welcome competitors from around the globe as Clear Lake kicks off this international event! Countries competing include: Brazil, Canada, France, Guatemala, Portugal, Romania, Spain, and USA. Opening Celebration Schedule 5:00 to 5:30 p.m. Faith Takes Flight gathering with Open Throttle Ministries. 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. Live music by Stubble Trouble at the City Park Bandshell. 6:30 p.m. Parade of Nations down Main Avenue, featuring pilots and teams from around the world carrying their national flags. Parade route: City Hall Parking Lot to City Park. Mini flags for each country present will be provided while supplies last. 6:50 to 7:50 p.m. Opening Ceremony at the Bandshell, including a formal welcome, recognition of participating nations, and the official opening of the 33rd FAI World Aerobatic Championships. 8:00 to 9:00 p.m. Stubble Trouble returns to the Bandshell for another evening performance.
