Winter Dance Party
Winter Dance Party is an annual tribute to the lives & legacies of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, & JP "The Big Bopper" Richardson, who played their last concert at the Surf Ballroom on February 2nd, 1959.
Artists Scheduled to Appear:
Thursday: Martha Reeves & the Vandellas, The Coasters, Tommy Allsup and The Tailfins.
Friday: Flash Cadillac, Johnny Rogers Band, and the Holy Rocka Rollaz
Saturday: Tribute to Joe B Mauldin by all of his Crickets Buddies featuring Sonny Curtis and JI Allison, live performances by Wanda Jackson, Jason D. Williams, and Ricky Nelson Remembered featuring Matthew & Gunnar Nelson, along with a guest appearance by the Vee Brothers.
