On July 2nd and 3rd, the City of Clear Lake and RDG launch an on-site strategic planning process designed to gain input and opinions from the Community's residents and visitors in order to better understand priorities and concepts regarding future streetscape improvements to N. Lakeview Drive (Main Ave to 1st Ave N.) and potential future re-use of the former Main Avenue Water Tower site. Your insights into the important questions we face will be invaluable to the discourse as we move forward.
Upcoming Design Studio: July 2-3
Help design the future of Clear Lake’s waterfront area
Work alongside city planners, landscape architects, and artists to design enhancements to North Lakeview Drive, including the reuse of the former water tower site. All are welcome to participate in this two-day event that includes:
1. Design Studio Open House
When: Tuesday, July 2 from 4-6pm and Wednesday, July 3 from 9-11am
Where: Lakeview Community Room
At these interactive open house events, you can chat with the design team or sketch out an idea of your own. A team of planners, landscape architects and artists are counting on your input to help transform preliminary ideas into a new design from the waterfront. Come at any point during the open hours.
2. Public Presentation
When: Wednesday, July 3 at 3pm
Where: Lakeview Community Room
Visit with the design team as they share initial designs for North Lakeview Drive and the former water tower site. There will be a short presentation followed by Q&A.
If you are unable to make either of these events but still want to participate, please visit www.rdgusa.com/crp/clearlakewaterfront to take a short online survey.
Thank you for your attention to this letter and for the future role you will play in our planning process
