Rising Tides: Lake Leadership Alumni Program at McKesson

The Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to host its second Rising Tides: Lake Leadership Alumni Program on Friday, Feb. 13, at McKesson in Clear Lake.

Join fellow Lake Leadership graduates for an engaging afternoon of networking, leadership inspiration, and behind-the-scenes learning. The program includes lunch from The Other Place, a leadership message from Brad Barber, co-owner of Cabin Coffee and founder and CEO of United to Serve with Passion and Purpose, and an optional guided tour of McKesson’s Clear Lake distribution facility.

McKesson Corp. opened its 340,000-square-foot distribution hub in Clear Lake in 2016. A Fortune 500 healthcare company, its one of the largest pharmaceutical distributors in the United States, delivering approximately one-third of all medications used in North America while supporting pharmacies, hospitals, and clinics with medical supplies, technology, and oncology services.

The Rising Tides: Lake Leadership Alumni Program is an initiative designed to reconnect graduates of our flagship leadership program while providing ongoing opportunities to learn, grow, and continue making an impact in our community. This is the second of what we hope will become quarterly alumni programs featuring networking, education, and unique experiences at area businesses and organizations.
