Pioneer Museum Opening Day & Conestoga Cookout

Visitors to Kinney Pioneer Museum on it's opening day can enjoy a BBQ Pork meal.  Special music, activities, and demonstrations by the blacksmith, broom makers, and rug weaver are also planned. 

Experience life on the Iowa frontier through the vintage exhibits and living history at the museum. Museum consists of a main brick building, an old one room school house, a log cabin, a blacksmith shop, a local town's wooden jail, a metal building for display of agricultural equipment, a storage building and workshop, along with several outdoor items on display.
