Our Neighbors, the Amish

Don and Dianne Kramer of Dyersville, Iowa, present the lifestyle of the Amish, a community that is close to home, but often unfamiliar to us. Don and Dianne are surrounded by three Amish communities, and it has been through their interactions with the Amish, along with extensive research, that they have been able to gather and share what they’ve learned about these humble, kind, intriguing people. Come learn about the beliefs and lifestyle of a community of people whose religious practices are often mystifying and whose way of life is much different than our own. All ages are welcome. Amish refreshments provided! This event is free and open to the public; it is expected to last about two hours.
