Reminiscent of the nightclub and ‘social’ ballroom from days past, the Clear Lake Arts Center, with the help of Nonsemble, will transform their Sukup Performing Arts Wing and Hanson Gallery into Club Flamingo. Live Big Band music, dancing and dessert is included in the price of the ticket. Tickets on sale now; $10 per person, $18 per couple in advance or $12 per person, $20 per couple at the door. All tickets include dessert and coffee. Wine, beer and appetizers available to purchase. Tables can be reserved for $10 (tables hold up to eight people). Seating is limited and expected to sell out. Nonsemble is a troupe of local musicians directed by bandleader Jim Reisinger. Members of the band include John Aslakson, Keith Bauer, Andrew Dillman, Ken Hanus, John Henry, Doug Jensen, Terry Kaduce, Jim Larson, Dick Morris, Janelle Renner, Jim Reynolds, Dick Schinnow, Kirby Schmidt, Brian Stevens, Ron Stroup, Margaret Tue, Dave Underwood and honorary member Bill Nicholas. Linda Dlouhy (dahLOY) will be the Master of Ceremonies for the evening. Dlouhy will enhance the evening with delightful ‘did you know’ fun facts about many of the songs and the songwriters. All in all, it’s an evening you will not easily forget.
