The Mystery Book Club meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 6:00 pm in the library. Death of a Gossip by MC Beaton: Constable Hamish Macbeth is one of several victims of Lady Jane Winters’s searing gossip column. Yet not even Hamish thought someone would permanently silence her—until her body is fished out of the river. Now with the help of the lovely Priscilla Halburton-Smythe, Hamish must find the murderer—but is he in over his head? Secrets are dangerous…and killers usually strike again.
