ILYA Dinghy Week

The Clear Lake Yacht Club is hosting ILYA Dinghy Week in partnership with the Inland Lake Yachting Association (ILYA), bringing sailors from across the region to Clear Lake.

This multi-day regatta features several championship fleets racing throughout the week, including:

• Opti Championship, July 24-26

• X Boat Championship, July 26-29

• Melges 15 Championship, July 29-August1

Each fleet races on its own course, so you’ll see activity on the water throughout each day as different groups compete during Dinghy Week.

For many sailors, this is a highlight of the summer racing season. For families, it’s a great chance to experience competitive sailing in a welcoming, community-focused setting.

If you’re new to regattas, expect a mix of scheduled race times and downtime between races, which means there is plenty of time to explore Clear Lake and enjoy your stay!
