Come help crank the old-fashioned ice cream freezer and make your own ice cream! There are hands on activities, a run weaver, blacksmith and our broom makers are here to demonstrate their crafts and much more! Homemade ice cream provided by Birdsalls.
Visitors to Kinney Pioneer Museum will enjoy homemade ice cream prepared at the museum and served with homemade cakes & bars. Special music, activities, and demonstrations are also planned.
Experience life on the Iowa frontier through the vintage exhibits and living history at the museum. Museum consists of a main brick building, an old one room school house, a log cabin, a blacksmith shop, a local town's wooden jail, a metal building for display of agricultural equipment, a storage building and workshop, along with several outdoor items on display.
