Green Expo

Where else can you sample fresh food, learn about paddle boarding, get a hand massage and find out how to help injured wildlife - it's all at the popular regional Green Expo from 4-7pm Thursday, April 18 at the Surf in Clear Lake.

The event is free and open to the public. The Green Expo is a fun way to be empowered, find out the latest of what is in our own "backyard" for healthier food, homes, and lifestyles for our families.  Shopping locally and "adventuring" locally recycles the dollars in North Iowa.  Exhibitors include everything from NIACC representatives discussing the wind turbine program to architects, landscapers, spa professionals, health consultants, local food producers, local and state non-profit organizations to companies providing non-toxic paint. Free food is part of the event, held in conjunction with area Chamber Business After Hours. An updated list of vendors is available at www.earthdaynorthiowa.org in the Green Expo section.
