Fresh on Fridays

Kids of all ages are invited to enjoy another engaging Friday in the Bee Happy Discovery Garden filled with hands-on activities, outdoor exploration, and interactive experiences in partnership with community collaborators. Each week offers families the opportunity to learn, create, and connect in a fun and welcoming outdoor setting. This week features a hands-on upcycling activity with Iowa Waste Exchange, where participants can get creative while learning about reuse, sustainability, and reducing waste through fun, interactive projects. Community programming will also be available throughout the morning in partnership with ISU Extension, including Show Buddies activities designed to engage youth in learning and hands-on experiences. Visitors are encouraged to explore the Bee Happy Discovery Garden throughout the morning and enjoy all the seasonal offerings, from garden activities to community-led experiences.
