Fresh on Fridays

Fresh on Friday begins Friday, June 6th at Central Gardens of North Iowa. Every Friday, 8-11am through August, the public is invited to enjoy free coffee and refreshments on the patio, browse gardening magazines  and purchase flower bouquets fresh from the garden!  Kids activities take place in the Bee Happy Kids Garden from 9-11am.  Chef in the Garden: Kids of all ages will be able to learn how to make healthy foods and snacks from an actual chef in the Kids BEE Happy Garden. Volunteers in bright yellow shirts will also be on hand to help kids explore the wonders of nature, sample at a tasting table and develop a green thumb.
