Fresh on Fridays

Kids of all ages love the hands-on activities and different garden experiences with community collaborators that are offered every Friday in the summer in the Bee Happy Discovery Garden. Whether it’s tasting what’s growing in the vegetable garden, learning about plants and insects with magnifying glasses, helping water plants, creating their own nature-themed art work, or reading a book, there’s something for everyone. Find out what’s abuzz every week on Facebook. What could be nicer than a freshly picked bouquet of beautiful flowers to grace your table for the busy summer weekend? Talented volunteers create stunning arrangements sold at very reasonable prices every Friday morning. Then head on over to the pavilion patio for complimentary coffee and refreshments. You can also sample veggies and herbs that are for sale, all grown organically in the Bee Happy Discovery Garden.
