Earth Day Fest, 5K/10K, & Trash Bash

Get ready for some family fun and making a difference in Clear Lake.  It’s easy for all ages to help with the Community Cleanup for part of the morning.  And then enjoy the Fun Run, seeing wild critters close up, crafts, food, family games and more. Other events are held throughout the community in conjunction with Clear Lake Earth Days and national Earth Day.  Check the website for details. www.earthdayclearlake.org 

Outdoor Fest 10am-1pm
Activities include:
Community clean up, outdoor toys community share, fun run, tug of war, obstacle course, Trumpeter Swan flyaway, family games, food trucks, go wild parade, grab & go bags, chalk drawings, bounce house.

Seed Library: April 1-30 at the Clear Lake Public Library
Community Easter “Sonrise:” Sunday, April 17th at 6:45am. City Park Bandshell/Lakeview Room, the public is invited to this service hosted by Clear Lake Christian Church.
Community Cleanup: April 18-April 23
Big Green Purse Lunch & Learn: April 19th at noon (Zoom)
House plant cutting swap program with Master Gardener Marissa Mason: April 19th at 6:30pm at the Clear Lake Public Library
Green Expo: April 21, 4-7pm at the Surf Ballroom
Outdoorfest: April 23 in City Park.
9am: 5k/10k race
10am-1pm: Family Activities include tug of war, fun run, Go Wild Parade, fly like a trumpeter, obstacle course, bounce house, grab & go packets, yoga, & pickleball. The Clear Lake Arts Center has chalk drawings & a MakerSpace.
11am: Iowa Turtles! with Chad Dolan IDNR Biologist
10am-noon: Outdoor Play Toys Community Share at the Clear Lake Yacht Club
