Diabetes screening and clinic
A diabetes awareness clinic with 50 free A1C screenings in downtown Clear Lake. Screenings will be conducted by a MercyOne nurse on a first-come, first-serve basis. A MercyOne dietitian will be on hand to answer questions, as well as a parent of a teenager with diabetes. Healthy snacks and recipes from Roots Nutrition Counseling & More and information handouts will be provided. Sponsored by the Clear Lake Evening Lions and Lions Club International.
