Tuesday, September 13, 2016 When: Starts at 5:30 PM Location: Sukup Performing Arts Wing Summary: For over 30 years Ihlenfeldt has been drawing, painting and pursuing bold expressionistic images to touch the hearts of people. Each piece conveys a message of hope and love. A large portion of the proceeds of Ihlenfeldt’s work goes to help orphans around the world; most recently, to help fund the adoption of an 8 year old boy and 12 year old girl from Nicaragua. Ihlenfeldt will talk on this subject of producing art for a purpose that is larger than the work itself.
