Alzheimer's is a horrific disease, every 67 seconds someone is diagnosed with this disease. This is also the 6th leading cause of death in the United States. 1 in 3 seniors that pass have some sort of Alzheimer's or dementia. It cannot be prevented, cured or even slowed. It affects you probably more than you know. As you read this you can probably think of a loved one, a family friend, a friend or just someone that you know that is effected by this disease in some way or another. June 17th Country Meadow Place is hosting Carnival to Fight Alzheimer's. Event will be from 5pm ? 9pm at Country Meadow Place in Mason City. We are raising money to help bring awareness for Alzheimer's. We are asking anyone that would like to be a vendor to pay $10 for a table (we provide), you may have up to 2 additional tables (that you provide) if you would like. You stay, sell some products and enjoy our event. Our only request is that you give 10% of your profit to go to the Alzheimer's Association. If you would like to help out, but not a vendor, donations of many things will be graciously accepted. Also donations for a silent auction and register to win giveaways.
