Although the Color the Wind Festival is cancelled for 2021, there will be a few big kites in the sky at 11am.
Event organizers Larry & Kay Day retired after 2020's event and will hand over the kite strings to the Chamber of Commerce in 2022. We appreciate the Day's leadership and are excited for them to assist us with this exciting transition. Save the date for February 19, 2022!
Color the Wind is the Midwest's largest & most colorful winter kite festival, featuring huge inflatable kites of all kinds flown by serious kite-flyers from across the United States. Hot food is available on site. Free admission.
