Bubble Walk for Childhood Cancer

If you want to join the fight to defeat a major childhood disease and have some fun, too, check out the Evening Lions Club’s Bubble Walk activity during the Stomping Out Childhood Cancer event. The fundraiser runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the North Iowa Fairgrounds Events Center. The Bubble Walk will be available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. It features several stations where kids and families can have fun creating and wading through bubbles of different sizes and colors. There is no admission fee, but freewill donations are welcome. The day’s full schedule includes a car show, food vendors, auctions, and several family activities, including the Bubble Walk. All proceeds go toward helping families with children who are dealing with cancer as well as cancer research. Sponsors for the Evening Lions’ Bubble Walk include Clear Lake Bank & Trust, MBT Bank, Noon Lions Club, and the Savanah Memorial.
