entangle Inspired Art covers a wide range of styles & mediums. It is essentially artwork that is inspired by and/or includes Zentangle pattern drawing and is representational (not abstract or unplanned) and that’s what makes it ZIA. Discover the joy of creating Zentangle Inspired Art or ZIA. Join us for Black Tile Formal, a 2 ½ – 3 hour ZIA class where we’ll draw on black Zendala tiles. Zendala tiles are round, and for this project we begin in the center with a beautiful stone. Our design grows as we surround our stone with beautiful, tangles! Just like dressing up for a formal affair, we’ll add gold and sparkles! Although this is a ZIA class, we will be using the Zentangle Method to draw. This class is for everyone! No Zentangle experience is required, and all tools and materials are included! This class covers: · How to draw a stone · How to draw on black with Sakura Gelly Roll pens · Techniques for shading on black tiles · How to draw and modify tangles for ZIA · You’ll gain practice, learn new tangles, or perhaps a new perspective for drawing familiar tangles
