Beginner Guitar

Join instructor Bruce Ray for this relaxed group style beginner guitar class! Every Saturday July 2-August 20 from 9-10 am at the Surf Ballroom Music Enrichment Center. FREE! Drop ins welcome. No registration required. Bruce Ray is Iowa born, graduating from Iowa State and University of Iowa. Retired after 38 years as a professional electronics eningeer, Bruce is now contributing his time and passion to music, as played on multipul instruments (guitar, trombone, saxophone and a little piano!). Bruce has a new personal passion to learn the "language of music" - the theory of music - as expressed through improv, and teaching is part of that growth. He is currently performing across the state in several college concert and band ensembles. He is excited about the Music Enrichment Center, and looks forward to sharing a simplified theory with his students,"The Spape of Music!"
