Frederick is a very accomplished watercolorist having worked in the medium for more than 25 years. Her works have been displayed in numerous galleries in the Midwest\; and she herself has been a student of many nationally acclaimed artists. In 1988\, after having her work selected for the Iowa Watercolor Society annual show in three consecutive years\, she became a signature member of the Society. Frederick holds a degree in art education. The workshop is two 4-hour sessions Thursdays\, October 26 & November 2 with a 1 hour break each day for lunch.
