DESCRIPTION:The Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to welcome Lake Leadership alumni back for another Rising Tides: Lake Leadership Alumni Program on Friday\, Oct. 23\, in Clear Lake's Surf District.\n\nEvent Details\n\n  Friday\, Oct. 23\n\n  11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.\n\n  Surf Ballroom Music Experience Center\, 460 North Shore Dr.\, Clear Lake\n\n  $30 per person (includes lunch from Rivara and admission to the "Not Fade Away" immersive museum experience)\n\nJoin fellow Lake Leadership graduates for an engaging afternoon of connection\, learning and behind-the-scenes access as we explore the continued transformation of Clear Lake's Surf District.\n\nThe program will begin with lunch from neighboring Rivara and networking at the Surf Ballroom Music Experience Center. Jacob Widman\, Director of Finance & Administrative Services for the City of Clear Lake\, will share an update on Surf District revitalization and additional grant funding\, followed by Jeff Nicholas\, Chair and President of the North Iowa Cultural Center & Museum\, with a closer look at the Music Experience Center and its "Not Fade Away" immersive museum experience.\n\nWe'll then head to the new Oaks Hotel\, where Chelsy Snyder Anderson of Dean Snyder Construction and a member of the North Iowa Cultural Center & Museum Board\, along with Andi Tisor\, will share an update on the project and take alumni on an exclusive sneak peek tour.\n\nThroughout the program\, we'll also hear how partnerships and community collaboration are helping move these projects forward and continue the transformation of the Surf District.\n\nRising Tides: Lake Leadership Alumni Program is designed to reconnect graduates of our flagship leadership program while providing ongoing opportunities to learn\, grow and continue making an impact in our community. Programs throughout the year feature networking\, education and unique experiences at area businesses and organizations.\n\n  Register by Monday\, Oct. 19.
