DESCRIPTION:Get ready for the Winter Dance Party by making your own poodle skirt. In cooperation with the Surf Ballroom\, the Clear Lake Arts Center is having a Poodle Skirt Workshop with instructor Andrea Evelsizer\, Saturday\, January 27 starting at 10:30am. NO Sewing Required! "Knowing how to sew isn't required for this workshop\," said Clear Lake Arts Center Instructor Andrea Evelsizer about the Saturday workshop. Although\, those that know how to sew can bring their own sewing machine. "It's a quick and simple pattern. We will have a couple people with sewing machines at the class ready to sew the seams and the waste bands\, as participants work on designing\, cutting out and applying the decorations for their skirts." This event is for young and old. Sponsored by Larson's Mercantile. The cost is $40 for adults and $30 for children\, all supplies included. Class size is limited.
