DESCRIPTION:The COOLEST event of the year! Plungers take a quick dip or splash in the frigid waters of Clear Lake with proceeds going to the kids!\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout this event\n\n\n\nJoin us as the Clear Lake Jaycees take over the annual Polar Bear Plunge held during Christmas by the Lake weekend in Clear Lake.\n\n12:00 PM: Arrival/Check-in/Registration for Plungers at the Yacht Club\n\n12:30 PM: Plungers take the plunge!\n\n1:00 PM: Warming Party at Tap'd (Tap'd will have a band and all participants will receive a BOGO token to enjoy a cocktail or beer at the party.)\n\nWarming trailers will be onsite to change afterwards. When you check-in\, you can provide your team name in order to be announced to plunge together. Fun costumes or outfits encouraged but not required.\n\nRegistration is a donation to the local Toys for Tots + Clear Lake Children & Families In Need Fund. A minimum donation of $50 will get you 2021 Polar Bear Plunge swag. If you would like to donate and not dip\, feel free to venmo us at @ClearLake-Jaycees.\n\nNote: by purchasing a ticket for this event\, you are required to sign a waiver at registration.\n\nTips for First Timers\n\n\n	Pack a towel and water shoes\n	Wear your swimsuit under your clothes\n	Bring easy to get into warm clothes (and shoes!) for after the Plunge\n	For your own safety\, never dive into the water\n	Bring a plastic bag for wet clothes\, and somewhere to store your dry clothes\n	Have fun!\n\n\nIn case of cancellation due to weather\, all registrations will be considered a donation to our charities\, but we still distribute your swag to you.
