DESCRIPTION:Summer Theatre Under the Stars at Central Gardens\n\n \n\nCentral Gardens of North Iowa and the Clear Lake Arts Center are once again pleased to present 'Summer Theater Under-the-Stars'. On Friday\, Saturday and Sunday\, July 14\, 15 and 16\, director Craig Rule and his all-volunteer cast will present an outdoor performance of Thornton Wilder's Pulitzer prize play\, "Our Town". Curtain time is 7:30pm. The play portrays a small New England town over a span of ten to twelve years in which we see that "Our Town" characterizes citizens living in almost any town. \n\n \n\nCast members include Makenna Crabb\, Gabreyl Gaubatz\, Jacob Gray\, John Henry\, Dean Hess\, Matt Holub\, Matt Kono\, Diana Meyers\, Sam Robbins\, Eley Schmidt\, Jadan Smith\, Marsha Thayer\, and Mary Woerner. Tickets are $10 in advance\, $12 at the gate with children 14 & under free when accompanied by an adult. Tickets can be purchased online at https://ourtownticketsclearlake.eventbrite.com \, at the Clear Lake Arts Center\, 17 South 4th Street or the Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce\, 205 Main Ave\, in downtown Clear Lake\, IA.\n\n \n\nCentral Gardens of North Iowa is situated on 2.75 acres at 800 Second Avenue North. The ceremonial garden provides a stunning setting for this outdoor performance. Picnicking before the performance is encouraged. Reminiscent of outdoor theater at the turn of the 20th century\, guests are encouraged to bring their own blankets and/or lawn chairs.
