DESCRIPTION:This year the Clear Lake High School art department (clearlakeart.weebly.com) and the Clear Lake Arts Center (http://www.clartscenter.com/) are hosting the North Central Conference Art Show on April 11. The art show includes a field trip day for the invited high school students. The field trip involves the students coming to view the artwork on display and hear from guest speakers in art-related fields. Speakers this year include a graphic designer/painter\, a ceramicist\, and an architect. The conference consists of 10 school districts and each school will be bringing 15 pieces of art. Including speakers\, teachers\, bus drivers\, and students there will be about 180 individuals in attendance. High schools in the North Central Conference include Algona\, Bishop-Garrigan\, Clarion-Goldfield\, Clear Lake\, Eagle Grove\, Iowa Falls\, Hampton-Dumont\, Humboldt\, St. Edmond\, and Webster City.\n\n\n\nThe art display will be open to the public on Tuesday\, April 10\, 2012 from 10am to 7pm at the Clear Lake Arts Center.
