SUMMARY:NITC Bicycle Pie Ride
DESCRIPTION:North Iowa Touring Club (NITC) Pie Ride\n\n \n\nThis bicycle event sponsored by the North Iowa Touring Club (NITC) where participants ride at their own pace with three routes to choose from:  A casual ride around the lake (14 miles)\, 52 miles ride\, or for the hard-core riders an extra lap around the lake would give you 66 miles (100k).\n\n \n\nThe event includes a spaghetti lunch with the best homemade pie in North Iowa and a $20 Wayne's Ski and Cycle gift certificate.  With pre-registration you will be guaranteed a pair of DeFeet bike socks\, participants will receive a pair of bicycle socks from DeFeet as supply last. (With one pair going to each registered family).\n\n \n\nFunds raised from this event are used by the NITC to promote outdoor activities and bicycling road safety.  NITC has placed a Bicycle Fixation Station in the park at Clear Lake and another on the Trolley Trail between Clear Lake and Mason City.
