DESCRIPTION:Take your team on an adventure beyond the meeting room in Clear Lake\, Iowa!\n\nOn April 7\, 2022\, the tourism industry will come together to celebrate Global Meetings Industry Day an international day of advocacy showcasing the undeniable value that business meetings\, trade shows\, incentive travel\, exhibitions\, conferences and conventions bring to people\, businesses and communities.\n\nThe public is invited to tour several Clear Lake meeting venues to explore our diverse convention spaces\, meeting-focused hotels\, world-famous attractions\, and irresistible breakout sessions.\n\nClear Lake offers your group a legendary experience. Start your self-guided site tour on April 7th between 8am-4pm at the Chamber of Commerce\, where you will pick up a complimentary welcome bag\, meet Director of Tourism Libbey Hohn and learn how our complimentary planning service can customize your group tour\, meeting\, retreat\, or social event to your exact needs. We also have resources to help with proposals\, itineraries\, and funding to bring your group to the lake.\n\nThese Clear Lake meeting venues will be open for you to tour on Thursday\, April 7th from 10am-2pm (unless otherwise noted). Some of our spaces are unavailable to tour April 7th due to prior event bookings or seasonality\, however you are encouraged to arrange a private site visit based on their availability.
