DESCRIPTION:Light Up Clear Lake\n\n\n\nThe Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the Light Up Clear Lake light and decoration challenge beginning Saturday\, December 4th.\n\n\n\nMap and People's Choice voting is on facebook.com/ClearLakeAreaChamber\n\n\n\nDo you think your home or business has the best lights in Clear Lake or Ventura?  Sign up here for your home\, business\, or property to be judged in the following categories: \n\n	The Clark Griswold Award\n	Creative Inflatables\n	Reason for the Season\n	Through a Child's Eyes\n	Traditionally Elegant\n	People's Choice\n\nThe Chamber will be accepting entries through Monday\, December 6th.\n\n\n\nLight Up Clear Lake\, presented by CL Tel\, is a fun way to light up the Clear Lake area and allow families to enjoy a fun activity during the holidays. Addresses of participating homes and businesses will be printed in the Mirror Reporter on Wednesday\, December 8th and can also be found below. \n\n\n\nA panel of judges will select one winner for each of the first five categories listed above. The People's Choice Award will be voted on by the community. Photos of all entries will be placed on the Chamber's Facebook page the week of December 15th. You can then vote by "liking" the photo of your favorite home or business. Voting will close on Monday\, December 20th.\n\n\n\nWinners will be announced in the Mirror Reporter on Wednesday\, December 22nd\, and each winner will receive Chamber Bucks. \n\n\n\nSpecial thanks to presenting sponsor CL Tel\, photography partner The Mirror Reporter\, and the panel of judges led by Whit Mixdorf and Vonnie Amosson.
