DESCRIPTION:The Salvation Army of North Iowa and Alpha Media are happy to announce our 1st annual Dogfest! This will be taking place on September 21st at the North Iowa Events Center in the Kinney Building.\n\n\n\nDoors will open at 9:30am and the event will run until 2pm.\n\n\n\nThe premier event will be our "Dog Runway Show" at 10am. This will be followed by several challenges including:\n\n\n\nBest of Fest Contest\n\nAn Agility Course\n\nDog Trick Exhibition\n\nRace To Your Guardian contest\n\n\n\nIn addition there will be a variety of family friendly dog themed activities to participate in including but not limited to a photo booth\, face painting\, and a chance to talk with a groomer or vet about any questions you may have. There will also be treats for humans and canines alike on site during the event.\n\n\n\nLastly\, there will be a silent auction with a variety of dog goods throughout the day.\n\n\n\nThe $5 admission fee will go to support the various programs that The Salvation Army provides throughout the year for children\, adults\, and families in need.\n\n\n\nFor more specifics or to enter your dog in the Runway Show or volunteer to be part of our event team contact Sandy at skrhbree@wctatel.net
