DESCRIPTION:Toe-tapping traditional Dixieland Jazz will be performed during Lakeside DixieFest! This event features professional jazz bands performing free outdoor festival concerts on Saturday evening 6-9pm\, and on Sunday from noon-9pm.\n\n\n\nBands:\n\nThe Original Salty Dogs - Chicago\, IL\n\nFounded in 1949 at Purdue University\, the band is considered to be one of the premier Dixieland bands in the country.\n\n\n\nReuben Ristrom & the Bourbon Street Boys - Minneapolis\, MN\n\nThe band was part of the first Lakeside Dixiefest in 1993\, and will be making its 5th return to Clear Lake.\n\n\n\nThe Pelicans Jazz Band - Des Moines\, IA\n\nThis will be the group's 2nd appearance at Lakeside Dixiefest. The band is made up of several members of the Party Gras Jazz Band which has previously performed here.\n\n\n\nThe Raiders of the Lost Art - North Iowa\n\nNow in their 32nd year\, the band has served as the "host band" of Dixiefest since 1993.
