DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, August 9th from 10-12pm. Open to children entering grades 3-6. If desired\, the authors may display their work in the children's department following the workshop! Please register in the children's department or by calling 641-357-0315. A word from the presenter: Please come out and dig deep into the creative writing experience. Join us in breaking down the elements of story-telling\, being a part of a creative atmosphere\, and creating a story that is uniquely your own. A writing workshop is a place to strengthen your skills\, work through the challenges of writing with a supportive group of people\, and become inspired! This workshop welcomes new writers and experienced story-tellers. As a group\, we will look at the intricacies of stories  the characters\, world\, and plot\, learning how to establish your own story into the next best-seller.
