DESCRIPTION:Cerro Gordo County Public Health will sponsor a 2-part seminar on Advanced Directives at the Clear Lake Public Library. In the first session\, an attorney will guide you through step-by-step information on topics such as Medical Power of Attorney\, Living Will\, DNR\, Power of Attorney\, and he will talk about the importance of planning ahead. There will also be an experienced care consultant to talk about having this difficult discussion with your family. CG Public Health will provide all the forms you'll need. The first session will be held on Tuesday\, April 22 from 2-4 pm. A second seminar will be held on Tuesday\, May 13 from 2-4 pm to answer any further questions. A notary will be available to ensure your wishes are recognized and legally binding.
