Name: CANCELED - Making Professional Connections with LinkedIn
Date: March 19, 2020
Time: 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM CDT
Event Description:
LinkedIn is more than just another networking site. It is a professional social networking platform that has been around longer than Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, and Instagram. However, LinkedIn is more relevant now than ever before. It hosts more than 500 million professional profiles, which means there is nearly an unlimited supply of network connections. Not just a place to find a job, LinkedIn can help you build your company's brand, rank your name on Google, maintain your electronic "Rolodex" of contacts, reach qualified applicants, collect endorsements and recommendations, and establish yourself and/or business as an expert in your field. In this course, we will look at why you need to be on LinkedIn, explore features, and discuss how to create or improve your profile.
